Why A Horse?
Our therapeutic horses serve as unique vehicles for exercising one's body and mind. Horseback riding provides physical, mental and emotional rewards. The horse's gentle rhythmic movements help increase the balance, muscle control and strength of riders with impaired mobility. A relationship forms between the rider and horse allowing riders to overcome fears and develop trust for their horse, along with their therapy team.
